Table 4: The Top 5 Language Service Providers in Latin America

The largest firm in Latin America and the Caribbean, Idea Factory Languages, is actually based in the British Virgin Islands. It sits atop the ranking for this region of the world with four other firms, divided equally between Latin American translation powerhouse countries Argentina (Translation Back Office and Rosario Traducciones y Servicios) and Brazil (Ccaps Translation and Localization and BLC - Brazilian Localization Company).
By revenue alone, the biggest translation companies in Latin America and the Caribbean are smaller than the largest firms in other regions, but they play an instrumental role in the language services market nonetheless. A large percentage of projects in some of the most commonly requested language pairs, such as English<>Spanish and English<>Portuguese, are delivered by language service providers in this area of the world.
