Summary
Just who buys language services? Until now, who bought translation services was based on guesswork and extrapolation. For this report, Common Sense Advisory checked with sales representatives at 25 language service providers to find out who their top customers are. Then we applied the same statistical algorithms that consumer marketers use to figure out who buys their products. The result: Three demographic and behavioral profiles of who buys translation. While "Finding the Elusive Translation Buyer" report will help service providers optimize their selling process, it should also prove fascinating to buyers who can look into the survey mirror and compare themselves to their peers.
