Our conclusion that there is little pricing difference between what small and large language vendors was wrong – in both directions. We continue to pore over the data presented in “What Translation Costs” (May04) in which we calculated the average, median, and modes for prices of 17 languages based on a large sampling of both sell-side and buyer data. Our statistical analysis showed minor differences between what small (5-20 employees), medium (21-100), and large (101 and more) providers bill for translation.
