Summary
For our report on multilingual content management, “Rage Against the Content Management Machine”, we interviewed 50 managers responsible multilingual applications. Sixty-two percent of them built their own CMS. We cross-tabulated this result with a survey of 93 language service providers (LSP) about 1) what their thousands of clients use to manage content and 2) how they exchange files with clients. Anyone who has been watching the flat sales of CMS and the nose dive of GMS won’t be surprised by the results.
