Most language service providers use a translation management system (TMS) of one kind or another. Many have two. Some have already moved away from their original deployment into a newer system. Thirty-eight percent of LSP users told us in a recent survey that their current primary system either replaced or complemented an existing TMS. We asked this group of repeat buyers what they had been using and why they brought in the new software. This brief explores the open-ended text responses we received from 98 LSPs, categorizing and contextualizing their explanations.
