Many organizations apply Agile methodology to drive software development projects. Its usage has now expanded to other business functions characterized by multiple, quick iterations, thus raising the bar for localization teams. If companies don't already support continuous localization for application development and Agile launches for marketing, they probably will do so soon to keep up with competitive pressure from local markets. This brief provides hard data in two areas for localization managers tasked with moving their workflows to Agile or benchmarking their progress: the adoption of Agile techniques by marketing teams; and higher Agile implementation rates among centralized teams.
