Many language service providers complain that it is becoming increasingly harder to retain their production staff and that turnover costs add up. Financial incentives contribute to increasing job satisfaction and to aligning team members with corporate objectives. To assess LSPs’ practices regarding incentives for project managers, CSA Research surveyed more than 250 heads of project management groups to understand common approaches. Just over 90% of respondents were executives or individuals in charge of overseeing all PM activity or a division of project management at their organization.

In this report, we present the types of incentive programs that LSPs offer project managers, the logic behind incentive programs, and whether to offer incentives. LSPs can use this information to design competitive incentive programs that drive desired behaviors from their production staff.
