Summary
Owners and executives of language service providers (LSPs) often get so involved in running the daily operations that they fail to spot the patterns of thinking and behavior that hold the company back. At the 2013 annual conference of the Association of Language Companies (ALC), Common Sense Advisory presented 10 mistakes that LSPs make based on observations in our research, advisory, and consulting practice. The session was so popular that we decided to turn the presentation into a brief. It is particularly suited for small to mid-sized companies, although large companies may still suffer from some similar challenges.
