Summary
Common Sense Advisory sees rapidly growing interest in machine translation (MT). However, our most recent survey on the technology found significant discomfort in applying the technology more widely and energetically (see “Human-Enhanced Machine Translation,” May13). This brief explores the cause of this unease, and why business needs will shift the priority from quality to emphasize content availability.
