CSN Opens Voting for Localization Excellence

In November ClientSide News (CSN) asked for nominations for its Excellence Award. The primaries are over. The candidates have been nominated. It's now time to vote!
We talked to Shaun Daggett, CSN CEO, who told us that "each year the awards program has seen continued growth in terms of the number of companies enrolled and the number of clients nominated. This year Montreal-based BG Communications will sponsor the black tie awards dinner which will be held aboard a private luxury yacht." That boat will depart Miami's harbor on 27 April, with GALA founding board member (and president of Andover-based LSP ArchiText) Hans Fenstermacher serving as master of ceremonies. Two-time consulting award winner Common Sense Advisory will be represented by Renato Beninatto, who will speak at the CSN Expo 2006 conference that precedes the award dinner.
We are always amazed by low voter turnouts in democratic elections, whether it's the U.S. and Costa Rica. While this vote won't have any effect on the war in Iraq or global warming, it could affect the fortunes of some industry practitioners and suppliers. It is a great way to acknowledge the contributions of colleagues who work in the same field as you do. So vote for the candidate of your choice, but do vote.
